In DingoSim, there are 4 packs, and they all have the same rank system. The ranks are below, followed by their explanation.
ALPHA: The Alpha Male / Female are the leaders of their pack. They're mates, and must be mates. They're in charge of their pack and are basically the overseers. Consider them the overlords of their pack. They're also the only ones who can have offspring. Their offspring must be respected.
BETA: The Beta is the second-in-command. They can be male or female, and they must have a mate within the pack. Their mate will be the Alpha alongside them when the Beta becomes an Alpha. A Beta's job is assisting and advising the Alphas, and they take over the pack when the Alpha pair is gone. Betas can also hold pack meetings if the Alpha pair is absent. Betas become the next Alpha Male or Female when the current Alpha pair dies, and the current Beta's mate is the one who will rule beside the current Beta.
SUBORDINATES: Subordinates are the current members of the pack. They can do anything they wish that will please the pack. They can choose to hunt, fight, or take care of the Alpha pair's pups. Subordinates are, other than that, normal members of the pack and are part of the pack.
OMEGAS: Omegas are the lowest ranking pack members. They're disrespected, and are ordered to do anything they must do by the Beta and Alpha pair. Omegas usually are dingoes who did something wrong, or are young. Omegas are to do anything they're told. The only Omegas that can be respected are the Alpha pair's pups.
PUPS: Pups aren't full members of the pack until they're 10 months old. They're the Alpha pair's children, or are lonely pups found and rescued by a pack. If they're the Alpha pair's pups, they must be respected no matter what, and can even order their packmates around. Other pups are to be taken care of. At 10 months of age, the pups are made Omegas, and at 1 year, they become a Subordinate.
